Just on a whim... which roads have long distance between services in California.... signed or unsigned.... minimum 50 miles...

So far, I have the following:
CA-62 - 93/100 miles between 29 Palms and Vidal Junction
CA-58 - 70 miles between Santa Margarita and McKittrick, CA. Although I think the 82 miles is to Buttonwillow
CA-127 - 57 miles betweek Baker and Shoshone
I-40 - 55 Miles between Ludlow and Essex

I don't think US-395 between Bridgeport and Topaz qualifies, but only barely.... there was a very expensive station in between the two areas. Also, CA-36 between Hydesville and Red Bluff, thanks to a notorious price-gouging station in Platina.
Welcome to Breezewood, PA... the parking lot between I-70 and I-70.

Route 46 between Golden Hill Road in Paso Robles and Route 33 in Lost Hills lacks services for approximately 50 miles

Route 1 has a services gap from Big Sur to Cambria, 68.6 miles: https://goo.gl/maps/Y5ZQL

There are services in San Simeon Village and Ragged Point, so the distance isn't quite as long.

There is a services desert (signed eastbound, at least) on SR 190 that runs 57 miles east of Stovepipe Wells--Amargosa (SR 127 junction) is the right distance to be the other endpoint.

I think the Ventucopa-Ojai desert (which I encountered last September) is also signed, but I have not been able to locate the sign in StreetView.
