Just found this. Good, enjoyable photos-- thanks for posting!

Could do without those red bridge piers in Cinci, though
Thanks!
Those red piers are probably better than having grey piers. They look a bit like something out of Texas.

Abandoned buildings are very interesting. This building is still maintained and operated currently. But it feels abandoned because there isn't much reason to go in any store outside of the anchors. The escalators are shut off and the AC is hot. There was a area in the building full of gamers interestingly enough.

The problem with abandoned places is that they are perfect for crime... vacant properties are a huge blight to any neighborhood.

Seeing I-64 get built and the wet streets was cool!  In Oregon it rains plenty on the coast and every time I was living someplace else, when it rained I got homesick as strange as that sounds.  This particular pix really brought that feeling home in spades.

As for freeways getting built, the only thing better is when they are open to drive on!

I personally think that 25 mph when children are present is bullcrap. 35 when flashing should be able to do the job.

Who gives a shit whether or not it works? You can't have two speed limits for one road.

Bit of a dumb question, but why was that bridge closed? Was it due to its shape, new ownership, or was it because there is a newer bridge close by?

Great pictures.

There is a newer bridge very close to this bridge, however the bridge seems older than that weight limit sign for it may have been something else.

Ole Kentucky with its tunnel visor amber and cut out visors for red and green on their signals.

One intersection in Kissimmee, FL has a cut out for the red and tunnel for the amber and green on SB John Young Parkway at US 192.  It reminded me of what that photo of yours shows that Kentucky loves to use on all their installations.
