Most Consecutive interchanges used

What is the largest number of consecutive interchanges on a single interstate/expressway that you have used in your life?  For the purpose of this thread, count any interchange number with parts (1A/B/C) as a single interchange.  Any single use (exit, entrance) counts.  You do not have to use every possible movement (NB exit/entry + SB exit/entry).

My record is 46 on I-65, from Exit 125 in Kentucky to Exit 115 in Indiana.

[Traveling a stretch of interstate frequently with children in the age range of 3-5 who "have to go to the bathroom right now" helped inflate this count.]
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

56 for me: I-84 Exits 14-71 in CT (19/20 and 51/52 each counting as 1 interchange).
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)

I have no clue, but I know I've used every interchange (including the two "HOV exits") on I-66.

I've used every interchange at one time or another on I-80 from its eastern terminus to the NE Extension of the PA Turnpike.  That's 47...not too shabby.

51 interchanges from Exit 628 in Texas to Exit 138 in Louisiana along I-20

Due to the nature of my job, I have used the majority of interchanges on multiple interstates in multiple states.  Particularly New Mexico and Utah.  I may have used every exit on I-25 in NM for example.  And every interchange in Utah on I-15 north of about Cedar City.  This includes weigh stations and rest areas.  So the answer for me is going to be in the hundreds.  Enough to where I don't feel like counting right now.

We get some projects where we need data from every single ramp and the only way to do that is to drive them all.  And I mean "all".  Sometimes even little right turn lanes at ramp terminals.  A single point interchange always needs two passes.  Once turning left and once turning right.  Then getting back on turning left onto the ramp as well as getting on by turning right into the ramp.

For those who don't know this about me, I work for a company that contracts with state DOT's to collect pavement data and photolog information.  Basically I get paid to clinch highways while making "driving videos". (Well, driving slide shows.)

Ramp collection can be a headache for most of my coworkers, but I enjoy it.  The combination of creating an efficient plan and throwing around roadgeek jargon makes it a rewarding experience for me.

41 on I-87 from Thruway exit 15 up through Northway exit 28, including the orphaned entrance ramp between exits 13 and 14.  If I ever have cause to use exits 29, 32, 40, and 41, that would be all the exits up to Canada.

I've used every interchange on 295 in DE & NJ, including rest areas, both currently open and closed.  Ironically, I never used Interchange 45 until Wednesday, which I took to transfer to US 130 due to a few accidents on 295.  Anyway, there are about 43 interchanges or so on 295 between these two states.  I could probably stretch it to over 50 if I included the consecutive exits I've used on 95 south of 295 in Delaware and Maryland.

NJ Turnpike 6-11. That's 9 if you count unsigned 6a. Not much compared to everyone else

About 39 on I-5, from Gravelly Lake Dr south of Tacoma to SR 104 north of Seattle.  I think I also have all of the I-405 exits, but I might be missing one or two in downtown Bellevue.

I have no clue, but I know I've used every interchange (including the two "HOV exits") on I-66.

Following up on this, I counted the interchanges on the Capital Beltway (counting the new HO/T lane exits that don't correspond to previously-existing ones as being separate interchanges) and came up with 41. Going clockwise, the partial interchange for the Greenbelt Metro stop breaks the string, and going anticlockwise the exit for MD-450 breaks it (in both cases, I've used the lone interchange between those two). I highly doubt I have more than 41 consecutive interchanges used on any other highway.

When I lived  in New Jersey, on the Parkway I used every interchange consecutively from 120 to 148.

On the NJ Turnpike I used every exit except the new 15X interchange and 17.  However, being 16E and 17 are probably considered one interchange as far as this thread's concerned, I used 16E multiple times to get to the Lincoln Tunnel.

In Florida I used every interchange on I-4 from Plant City to Sanford being I live in Orlando.

Florida's Turnpike I used every interchange from Stuart to its northern terminus.

FL 528 I have used every interchange except Banana River Drive in Merrit Island.

I've used every interchange on the section of I-95 north of Trenton. That's about it.

To continue for NJ, I used every interchange on I-78 except 4 and 6.

I-287 I have used every one between the NJ Turnpike and Main Street in Boonton.

The Palisades Interstate Parkway I have used every NJ exit. I know big deal right? As there is only four to choose from in less than 10 miles. Five if you want to count Hudson Terrace in Fort Lee, but that is on the connector to the GWB and that does not count. However, before NJ resigned the ramps, the State Line Overlook had it signed as NB Exit 3, so originally if the old signs still existed that would be true.  However, I never used the Scout Camp ramp, so by today's signing that would not be complete.

Nonetheless its connected to it as the overlook is really still part of one interchange.  Remember, both NB traffic to US 9W there and SB traffic to the overlook use U Turn Ramps.  The same U Turn ramps exactly.  So getting off at Exit 3 N Bound and leaving the overlook to go SB use the same exact U Turn, so as far as I am concerned its the same interchange.

I'm thinking for me it's I-64 in Kentucky and West Virginia, 56 interchanges between I-264 in Louisvile (ha, that's a typo but I left it since it fits my opinion of that place) and WV 114 in Charleston inclusive. If not for that exit between the tunnels and I-264, I could stretch that back at least to the Corydon exit in Indiana if not farther.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Mine would I-80 from Exit 409 in Lincoln all the way to Exit 5 (Madison Ave) on I-80 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. If I counted right, it'd be about 21 interchanges.

Hmmm.

Well, if we allow this to span multiple continuous highways, I have used every interchange from 1-19 on I-678 (pretty sure I've never used the Federal Circle exit), along with every interchange on the Hutchinson River and Merritt Parkways, plus exit 54 on the Wilbur Cross (don't think I've ever gotten on or off at Wheelers Farms Rd, which breaks the chain).

That's 19+26*+22**+1=68

*I'm combining exits 8/9, 17/18, and 20/21 since really these are the same interchange having a different number each way. I'm also accounting for the fact that there is no exit 11, and that exit 1 is the same interchange as I-678 exit 19. But then I'm counting the exit to 684, which is unnumbered between 26 and 27.

**The range 27 to 53 contains 27 numbers, but there is no exit 30, 32, 43, or 45, and exit 27 is the same interchange as Hutch exit 30.

Okay, gotta be all the same designation? Let's see, I've used every interchange on I-95 in New York (by my count there are 27 of them), along with every exit through 19 in Connecticut, exits 68-74 in New Jersey, and exits 16E-17 on the Turnpike. One may debate which spur of the Turnpike is appropriate to follow but I haven't used exit 15X so let's break the chain there.

That's 2+7+27+19=55

If I assume I-95 follows the western spur it goes up to 60, since I haven't used exit 12. I'm including the free ramps to the Meadowlands that are only open during events in that count and yes, I have used them.
If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

I have used every interchange on I-43 from I-41 in Green Bay to Moorland Rd in New Berlin.  That would be 59.  I'm 30 years old and have taken frequent trips on I-43 between Green Bay and Milwaukee.  Have also traveled to communities along the route for various things.

I-41 between Lineville Rd in Howard to Wis 28 south of Lomira.  That would be 43.  Have also used the 9 interchanges on US 41 north of Green Bay between the end of I-41 and Peshtigo which would be 52 straight.  Have made various trips along the route over the years.

DandyDan

All of them on I-80 from the NE 15 interchange at Seward, Nebraska through to the Walnut, Iowa exit, which counts up to 46 exits.  Granted some of them were ones to exit just to say I exited there once (I don't have a real reason to use Milford, NE exit, for instance), but I did use them.
MORE FUN THAN HUMANLY THOUGHT POSSIBLE

signalman

I forgot I-287 in my original post.  I've used every interchange in NJ along that interstate.  I think the only ones that I'm missing in NY is where it isn't multiplexed with I-87, save for Saw Mill, I-684/Hutch and I-95.  I may need to pick up the ones that I'm missing on future visits to that area.

ekt8750

I-95: I've been on/off every interchange between Langhorne, PA and Aberdeen, MD and that was thanks to me mistakenly getting off 95 at DE 3 once but it still counts.

I-476: Every interchange between I-95 and Mt. Pocono on the PA Turnpike NE Extension.

noelbotevera

Multiple here.

I-81 between exits 10 and 24. Only 5 interchanges.

I-83 on and off between exits 21A-B to exits 51A-B. Unless I had reasons to exit off between exits 24-39A, 42, 44A and 44B, and 50, that'd be all the exits from US 30 to I-81. That makes for 8 interchanges used.

I did some counting per the OP's parameters (same numbered highway; every exit # counts as one) and here's the top 3.
Keep in mind, I may have miscounted, so these might not be exact.  I left out rest areas and weigh stations since they are usually not numbered exits.

I-15: 104 interchanges from Exit 57 in Cedar City, UT to Exit 398 in Portage, UT.
I can't recall using every interchange south of there, but there are 18 more interchanges south of Cedar City to exit 27 in AZ.

I-25: 98 interchanges from I-10 to Exit 2 in CO.

I-40: 81 interchanges from exit 359 in AZ to Exit 0 in TX
"That's just like... your opinion, man."

cl94

Alright, because I can:

I-70: 24 from Exit 85 to Exit 118 (I counted suffixed exits that don't lead to the same road twice)
I-71: 30 from Exit 65 in Octa to Exit 131 near Sunbury
I-87: 53 From the Saw Mill Parkway (Exit 7A) to Exit 31 near Elizabethtown
I-90: 71 from Exit 18 west of Erie to the Taconic State Parkway on the Berkshire Spur. Excluding a couple in western PA, Exit B3, and Exit 1 on the Mass Pike, I've used every exit on I-90 east of I-71.

As far as 3DIs go, I've used every exit on every x90 in New York, as well as I-684, I-787 and I-587. Over in Ohio, I've used every exit on I-270, I-670, and I-271.
