It poured rain all day yesterday. Woke up to rain, rained steady all day, drove home from work in the rain, and it finally started let up around 9-10 PM.

I don't remember it raining that hard for that long in a really long time... and this has been a wet year overall.

Missoula and vicinity is under a Wind Advisory until 6 PM MDT today for brisk wind gusts up to 40 MPH at times. Stuff that isn't secured may end up getting thrown around and some weak tree limbs may end up crashing into things causing a bit of power delays. So far, that hasn't happened, but it would not surprise me in the least if areas like Potomac, Seeley Lake, Condon, Bearmouth Area near Interstate 90, and areas near Lookout Pass see scattered blasts of 50 or so.
Finally upgraded to Expressway after, what, seven or so years on this forum? Took a dadgum while, but, I made it!

Upper-40's and light rain here with 30 MPH wind gusts. Southeast Mass and especially Cape Cod got clobbered good overnight. Some places got 90+ MPH wind gusts, and at one point Plymouth County had over 80% of its electric customers in the dark.

Currently, it is 9C (but it sure feels colder), partly cloudy with 30 km/h winds.

Pretty gosh darn beautiful here in Houston today. Sunny, windy, and crisp, with a high of 77 and a low of 52.

Yesterday morning had a fairly windy thunderstorm, but no damage whatsoever. But the same thunderstorm complex produced some tornadoes in extreme SE Texas, including a wedge visible from the Rainbow Bridge and this one in Orange on I-10:

A very brilliant but crisp fall day here in the Seattle area. Mid-50s for a high, started in the 30s though.

After a week of insane rain and flooding, this is a welcome sight.

Yeah, this weekend is one to cherish. I'm going to do a good bit of driving (starting now) to take in the fall colors, the snowcapped mountains, and hopefully the aurora borealis.

Ditto here. After a blustery Thursday (Hobby Airport recorded a gust of 64!), the weekend has turned out astonishingly amazing. High today of 74, low near 50, and blue sky is all you can see.

High 40s and raining. The flip to normal weather came right as the clock struck midnight on November 1.

Today is a high of 4C/40F and a low of -3C/27F, with a bit of mixed precipitation. This was the first morning of the season that I had to scrap my car windows.
