Without re-reading everything, did we get stumped on any yet? Even to go to StreetView?

Not yet.

There have been GSV posts.

No GSV posts.  GSV posts haven't been allowed here (unless 48 hrs go by without the next iteration).

So, we've got every number covered so far without resorting to GSV? Impressive!

I have to admit I did not expect to see this thread make it this long. The previous one petered out in the early 700s, but that was back in 2009 when the forum had a lot less members.

I forgot that the original GSV picture that started the whole thing was made up for with another picture of the same number. And I'm really amazed that, after all that to-do, we've steered clear of GSV anyway.

Congratulations, all!

I've been sitting on a 689 picture for 24 hours now, and am getting excited everytime I see a new post, only to be disappointed by it not being the 688 sign that I wanted - could someone put me out of my misery.

Sorry to disappoint again with another that's not a 688.  I have a few 688s available, however it is not my turn to post again yet.  Or has enough time passed that I should just go ahead?

It's only been about 20.5 hours. So in about 3.5 hours you will be allowed to.
I's traveled:

I know 688 hasn't been posted yet, but it's been over 24h to play that one now for a little while and the sun's about to start coming up (though the birds won't sing for another 2h or so), so I'm going to bed rather than wait for Jim to post. I post 689 out of order, so as to avoid a situation where the game is held for a few hours with people not posting as I said I had one. Consider it time delayed for just after whenever a 688 gets posted tonight.

I've been watching this thread for a while, and wow, it really blew up!  I kept thinking about posting, but by the time it got near a route I knew of locally, it was already taken.  Yesterday, I was going to post I-690, but I missed it.  Here's NY 695 taken by me:

paulthemapguy

Here's the deal...I have a 696 and a 697 in my Ohio collection...but I can't post the 697 myself.  It would be against the rules.  The rules allow people to post stuff from other sites, but there's nothing about two consecutive posts by different people using the same source...so if you all can't find a 697 you know what to do wink wink

Otherwise nothing from me until 708.

The 700s are where I thought this thread would die since the start.  I hope I'm wrong though.  This thread has been exceeding all kinds of expectations!  I'm just glad I uncovered all of these great sources of sign photos...inspiring me to do better at my craft (craft?).

Here's a 698.  I have 78 of the 100 numbers in the 700's represented in my collection, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get stumped soon.

Let's go to Japan for route 699. Hard to see (it's on the left), but it's there. Credit to wikipedia.
