Since 1064 and 1065 have already been posted, I guess I'll go ahead and post mine, too.

KY 1065 in Louisville. Much of this route is on Outer Loop, which was indeed an outer loop when it was built. Now however it is deep within the metro, lined with neighborhoods. The state's largest mall is on this road.

This photo was taken at the route's eastern end in a relatively uncongested area compared to the rest of the route.

U.S. 190 west at Louisiana 1064 from November 2008.

Heh, I have its other intersection with a US highway.

Wakefield, KY. Franklin Road (KY 1066). A rural highway, but very nicely paved and graded.

KY 55 is a more significant road, threading several county seats together.

I have a KY 1067 somewhere in my collection, but I'm not sure on which Flickr page or webpage it's on to try and find it.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I'm tapped out until 1079...

How many states sign 4di routes? Obviously Texas and Kentucky do. Who else?

Virginia has many posted secondary routes with four digits. There's some 1xxx routes, and some as high as 9xxx.

There's a few counties with four-digit numbers. Cullman County, Alabama goes from 200s through the 1800s. Further south in the state, Pike County, has 6xxx and 7xxx routes to be absolutely certain there's no chance of an overlap...

A few scattered four-digit county numbers exist in Florida. I found a few in Kansas, and there might me some other oddities scattered around in isolated cases.

By the way, "i" is for Interstate...unless you're looking at Hawaii's H-201 or the unsigned I-480N, I-895A, and I-895B, there presently are no 4dis. I don't think we have a handy term for something like two-digit-state-route or three-digit-county-roads, since each state might call it something different than another one.

"2dsr"? "3dcr"?

I took a photo of this TODAY and now it's driving me crazy that there's no use posting it.  Oh well.  ONWARD to 1073
