So, do any signal enthusiasts here have a list of commonly-used terms (and definition) in the traffic signal world? I am pretty clueless about signals, but I'm curious if any of the enthusiasts here don't mind sharing their knowledge to others.  :sombrero:

Like... what is split phasing? What are old signal models? Stuff like that.
Life would be boring if we didn't take an offramp every once in a while

Well, there's this wiki that we have over on the Highway Divides forum (which is for discussing almost exclusively traffic signals and other control devices, if you want to join), but it isn't very complete:

Unfortunately, you won't find many signal enthusiasts here, since most of the members here are more interested in highways, road signs, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but there's a good forum on the internet that revolves around the interest of signals. Called "HIGHWAY DIVIDES."
