Sorry for the failure to clarify the rules issues myself. I was in the hospital for two weeks and had no Internet access. (Long story short: I'm OK.)

Foreign exit signs are allowed even if they aren't green. (What's important is having an exit number, not the color.)

GSV is allowed but GSV posts can be overridden (see rule 5).

Exit 281 at A-66, Province of Zamora, Castilla y León:

It's not actually a Big Green Sign, so I don't know if it's valid...

It's not my turn yet, but I'm doing a GMSV override so maybe that's OK.

That's a Raymond Yu special which means that sign is not real (it's been Photoshopped).  Therefore, I'm going to override it with a photo of the actual signs from the AARoads Gallery...

I would strongly suggest we avoid using anything posted on Raymond Yu's Flickr account.  He has a history of posting doctored photos as we have documented here... https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=3521.msg141398#msg141398

If I owned a dam and decided to donate it to charity, would I be giving a dam? I'm sure that might be a first because no one really gives a dam.

Yes, real pictures only. I posted one of his pictures for #250, but I made sure I looked it up on GSV before posting it.

That picture doesn't even look real. The lighting is way off for the Clearview. And... let's face it. isn't Louisiana the only place that used Clearview digits (I'm looking at you I-10 signs)? Oregon doesn't even use Clearview.

Nope: http://www.nysroads.com/photos.php?route=i90&state=NY&file=101_2428.JPG (Warning: viewing linked sign may cause effect similar to Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark)

Texas. And multiple Canadian provinces. (News flash: Putting Clearview digits in shields is a cardinal sin only in the minds of FHWA bureaucrats and haters.)

I can live with the letters but the digits need to be put out of their misery.  :ded:

I wasn't considering Canada, as they're not under the FHWA's jurisdiction. But now that you said it, there are three provinces here that use Clearview in shields (AB, MB, NS). The others use FHWA (SK, QC) or Helvetica (BC).
