Instead of handing out fish it may be time to teach how to fish.   You can make your own edits at https://www.google.com/mapmaker.   Take time to read the help notes and come back here to ask questions on how to do things.   Mapmaker is a bit complex and there is some learning curve, but I'm sure the regional leads that are following this thread will be happy to provide assistance.

A good place to learn the basics is by mapping unmapped commercial parking areas (shopping centers and the like).   A good tutorial here.

I tried.  I'd like to do edits, but after my corrections of US Route 52 in Lafayette, IN got rejected, I just gave up and let it remain incorrect on the map.  It should be off Sagamore between US 231 and Teal Road and go south with US 231 to IN 25, turn east onto a road Google doesn't have a name for, northeast on Old US 231, then east on Teal until hopping onto Sagamore going southeast.  Google rejected it immediately, so I didn't bother with it anymore.

I still see your edits pending, but they look to be corrupted. Meaning they were probably denied but the map still shows them as a pending edit. Unfortunately, because of this, the features are locked because of the "pending edit". If you could look back, find the edits, and undo them, I can fix it for you.

CR 118 West has been successfully reverted, thanks again TrevorB!

This time I have an edit which I'm confident in. :-D Google Maps shows ON 51, when it should be CR 15. ON 51 was downloaded in 1997, and checking GSV, you can clearly see this CR 15 shield. The stretch that needs converting is shown below.

First of all, I don't know if this is the right place to put this, so feel free to move it if it's not.

After seeing a lot of frustration with Google Maps on the board (and rightfully so), I thought I would step in to help. I'm a Google Map Maker Regional Lead, meaning essentially any edit I make through the Map Maker program is automatically approved.

Therefore, if you have an issue with a road (or anything on the map), please post them below and I'll try to get to them. Also, if you're a Map Maker user and have an edit pending approval, you can link to the edit below and I'll approve it.

Hope I can help!

THANK YOU! takes me forever

so if I'm in Austin at Loop 1 & US 183 and if I want to go to Walgreens at the NW corner of 183 & Duval, google maps will not allow you to go west on Duval.  you either have to go a few miles up to the next exit or double back around.  this was 2 weeks ago maybe the glitch has been fixed.

No problem! Removed ON 51 and extended CR 15 southward onto that segment, pending Google approval since it's in Canada.

I see that but I have no idea what the issue is. I've looked around and can't find why the directions don't direct you straight onto the ramp onto Research and then onto Duval. I'll keep looking.

Also RR 2222 heading west from I-35 is Really TX-69 but it is unsigned.  Great for us map people but anyone else will be routed onto 69 and no one will know what that is.

Additionally, there are numerous data corrections (no auto traffic-ing roads through lakes and roads through private fields, new roads, fixed road names, etc.) throughout the whole of Crook County WY (mainly near Pine Haven and Keyhole) and in northern Lawrence County SD.

Approved all of the ones I could find. Let me know if I missed any.

There's a few more name fixes near Spearfish (N Tinton Rd, Tom Ct, 100th St, Beaver Oaks Pl, Voorhees Ln), one more road that doesn't actually exist in Keyhole Reservoir, a lake that is a field near McNenny SFH (the deletion needs to be approved), and an edit to extend the WY 113 markings into Pine Haven itself (to Lakeview Dr).

There's also a new development called the Timbers, but I can't find where those edits were.

Many of these aren't showing up for me. If you don't mind, link to the specific edits by clicking your pending edit and grabbing the link from the chain button on the top left. I can approve them easier that way.

If this is wrong, let me know.

Approved the ones I could, but one or two have to be approved by google. I'll work on the business loop tomorrow evening when I have access to a computer (kind of hard to edit on a phone lol)

I know of several county routes in Florida that are still listed as being state highways, despite having been downgraded years ago.
I'll compile a list later, but the ones I can think of at the moment are CR 269A in Chattahoochee, FL; CR 286 in Sneads Florida; and CR 280 in Grand Ridge, FL.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

NC 12 ends at the entrance to the Ocean Hill community, roughly where the green area begins in this link. Unfortunately, the unnamed beach road that goes all the way up to the VA/NC line has "route 12" shields on it.

I'll throw in 162 in Jacob City, still shown as a SR between SR 273 and US 231, but should be a CR like the rest of the route. (source 1, 2016) (source 2, 2008)

Thanks TrevorB! Here's one more for you ;-)

Erbsville Ct in Waterloo, ON is labelled as Regional Road 16, even though this document from the Region of Waterloo doesn't list it as a Regional Road. Not to mention, Regional Road 16 is already assigned to Kressler Rd. So basically, I'm asking you to get rid of the RR 16 designation on Erbsville Ct. Thanks again :)

Just a note that Trevor and I are regional leads for the USA, we won't have any special powers for other countries (like edits in Canada).  However I do have some Canadian regional lead contacts if we need to refer something.

I put in multiple requests for one area in particular almost two months ago and none have been responded:

https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4729296,-78.6973048,1139m/data=!3m1!1e3

Problems:
1) CR 77 was decommissioned before 2014.
2) Miller Road is now CR 100.
3) Peters Road is now CR 101.
4) The Miller Road/Cascade Road bridge was imploded in June and right now the roads end at ex-CR 77/current CR 85 (Schwartz Road) one one side and Scoby Hill Road on the other.

1.) I removed the CR 77 road name.  The other name that was already on the road remains.
2.) street view shows the Miller Road name so I've not made a change.
3.) street view shows the Peters Road name so I've not made a change.
4.) Can you provide confirming information for this?  (Link to a news story will do.)

Part of our responsibilities as regional leads is to only approve/change what we can validate, so any information you can provide for validating changes is helpful.

Well I tried making the edit in Map Maker now, so we'll see what comes of it. If I have any trouble, I'll let you guys know :)

the bridge segments are marked "closed for maintenance" already.  https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4729296,-78.6973048,16.65z/data=!5m1!1e1

Has construction started on the replacement yet?  If so I could mark it "started" which would make is disappear from the map until marked completed.  Otherwise I could mark it "planned"

There was post-implosion work going on on June 14, when I was last there.

Also, I forgot I submitted this:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Brant,+NY/@42.5923209,-79.0283341,4518m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x89d2e0a01f20bb73:0xe3262e6c483c149e!8m2!3d42.5883549!4d-79.0176461

CR 323 is not that road out of Brant, CR 9 is the entire road north to NY 5. NY 323 was decommissioned in 1988 and replaced by an extended CR 9. There isn't a CR 323 in Erie County.

I marked the bridge as "started" so that it would not show on the map while the replacement is being constructed.  https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4729296,-78.6973048,16.01z

It appears there's a section of US-281 near the junction with TX-6 along which Google Maps will not route a trip or let you drop an endpoint.
