NV 170:

Forgot I had a good NV 169:

And going way back with a new addition to my sign collection with M1:

Jim

I thought I had a New York 170 and New York 170A together in a single photo, but I don't seem to.  So I'll go with New York 170A.  Manheim.  May 15, 2013.

New Brunswick 170 in the St. Stephen area.  August 9, 2014.

And to South Carolina 170.  November 22, 2011.

Photos I post are my own unless otherwise noted.

Someone mentioned that they didn't want to participate in this thread because we are allowing all numbers to stay in play. I've started a poll to gauge opinion on this matter. It will close in two weeks.

I haven't been playing this game because of all the catch-up photos -- I'd much prefer if it moved from number to number and didn't allow for past numbers to be used -- but I wanted to post this KY 169 photo. The sign wasn't removed when the road was relocated to a new intersection with US 68 in Jessamine County. And it's been defaced to read I69.

That's really cool... and also it's really hard for me to say that, after having seen that, that the sign would've remained there and not have been lifted and cleaned up and hanging in my basement. ;-)

I presume it finally got removed -- I haven't been out that way in awhile -- but this appears to be one of those "it's not my job" things where the contractor who covered up the roadbed didn't remove the sign.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Too bad wisdot got rid of WI-163 in the early 2000's. Out of all the decommissions they did that one I disagreed with the most by far. Now we got a huge whole in NE Wisconsin with no state highways.

Backtracking a couple since I only uploaded this picture yesterday.

NY 97 northbound at Minisink Battle Ground Road (Sullivan CR 168):

I'll do some catching up here:

A dim SC 170 on US 17:

We're also due for 171, so here's SC 171 in Charleston:

Jim

The elusive New York 171, which does not intersect any other state highway (though it crosses NY 5S) here in Frankfort.  June 13, 2014.

Austria Landesstraßen B171 (at least that's what it's called in TM) in Schwaz.  February 12, 2007.

Farm Road 171 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  March 13, 2011.

I'll break my self-imposed rule of 3 per number to get us an older, non-Clearview, US 171.  I-20 in Shreveport.  November 22, 2003.

No need to cry, I don't actually care.  Forgot I have to add 700 "lol"s after everything to indicate a light-hearted joking tone to people on this forum.

I've got a couple US171's myself.

That might be one of the lowest mounting of a sign (that isn't painted onto the road) I've ever seen.
