That can't be coincidental, right?

I can tell "Heritage Estates" MHP right away (the only neighborhood west of US 27 in Broward).

Don't remember it getting a name.

Just to make sure you saw what I did. The name of that pond vis a vis its shape...

Yeah, always thought it was fucking around with the Everglades...right by Johnson Street.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Quote from: pderocco on April 14, 2025, 01:24:06 AMI discovered this when re-clinching US-395 by driving the new Olancha/Cartago Bypass. This was at the intersection of the new Crystal Geyser Rd and what has now been demoted to US-395 Business Route:

What poor demented soul felt obliged to put "US" on this sign?

Also, this should be taken down anyway, since the detour is no longer needed. The new end of route 190 at US-395 is open to traffic.
It looks a mix between a California State Route pre-1964 edition and Hawaii State Route come together.

There was one in each direction on the old section of US 23 between Mars Hill and the Tennessee state line before the new freeway was built.

Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

That must be relatively recent. The last time I was in that area, it was a US 1A there.

That's 2011 GSV. The latest (2024) shows it as US-1A. And even in 2011, the signage in Bangor shows US-1A. So this was a localized US/State mixup from the past that got corrected at some point.

Spotted last Monday on NY 9N/22 south at NY 74 in Ticonderoga:

Here are a couple from my recent trip to New Mexico.

On TX 54 north of Van Horn.  There were three of these on northbound 54, but AFAIK none SB:
