Scenery Pics of Norway - Part 1
« on: September 30, 2016, 09:11:43 PM »

A small sampling of the scenery...in many instances the camera is unable to capture the breadth of the landscape...

At the head of the Stryn Valley

A perfectly still arm of a lake provides this reflection in a village near Stryn:

A typical view...this was at Jostalsbreen Natl Park visitor center:

These next two are fjord views out in the middle of nowhere...

This is what cruising through a fjord was typically like:

At the head of a fjord arm near Flam

The Flam Railway stops at this waterfall for passengers to get off and view this powerful waterfall, with a little mystical dance from volunteers of the Norwegian Ballet School

Very nice. I'd love to see parts of the world like this... maybe when I'm out of school.

Most people I know would rather go to the tropics and sit on a beach for a week; I think scenery like what you posted is much better.
