Highland Village, TX Reverts Back to EG Sheeting

Recently, Highland Village, which has installed only HIP or DG signs for years, has reverted to old-school engineer grade sheeted signs. I have a lot of new seen crosswalk and school speed signs with EG being installed.

They also installed a new crosswalk sign after the crosswalk instead of before it for no reason. I'm wondering if they lost their knowledgeable person.
