Smith River → Runnells

IA-316's northern terminus is here at the city limit.

Edited to use the closer picture of the city sign, which makes more sense given the context of this game.

—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

I'd completely forgotten I'd taken this in 2001, until I stumbled upon it in a box of film photo prints. A more recent photo from another Nome visitor confirms that the miner's pan welcome sign was still there in summer 2016.

Don't know why this completely slipped my mind when I was looking for something to play on all of the other Ys.

Not in the Yukon, but the next state over.

*Edit*  I found an easier "D" city sign to use (without a "Y" at the end like the one I had originally posted here)
