Hyphenated routes are a Louisiana specialty. This junction is along US 167 just north of Winnfield.

Northwest Louisiana has these unique 2-in-1 US route shields:

And the old style of Texas shields had plenty of arrows inside the shield. Courthouse square in Denton, Tx

It's been seen in other threads before, but this one's crying out for the US/VA 360 junction.  Scottsburg.  June 20, 2008.

If only Nassau County had signed county routes.  There are a couple of places where state routes turn into county routes with the same number, which would be perfect for this challenge.  Alas, all the county routes are still unsigned...

Well, here's the one that came obviously to my mind: NY 90 and I-90.

Nobody duplicates numbers like Ontario:

This sign is not there anymore, as it was removed when US 79 was truncated a few miles behind the camera.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

That may be the only place in Louisiana we have same number/different type routes. LA highways don't duplicate our US routes (other than 371 and 425) and the state route/interstate matches aren't anywhere close to one another other than this one
