Well, March is starting off well... :spin:

I'm going to chalk this up to a simple typo, and re-state that this is the official Challenge for today:

This was taken at Fairway Rd and Lackner Blvd last summer when they were reconfiguring the intersection, hence the use of wire hanging signals. The majority of Kitchener signals are on mast arms.

Sorry to interrupt the challenge but I have a question. What's up with the yellow being in the middle of those five-bulb signals? What's the top two colors?

THIS HAS BEEN REPOSTED. IT WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED A DAY EARLIER AND HAS A COUPLE OF REPLIES FOR IT, SO DO NOT BE CONFUSED.

Feb 19th:

(close up of a road work sign, literally coming within minutes)

(very sorry for posting this after 12:00, but I originally submitted this post at 11:59:xx (maybe 11:59:06, but I cannot remember for sure) - my OCD is literally killing me for not remembering and documenting the last two numbers of the time, but then OCD said "oh, you have to take a "perfect" picture of having 683 posts on your profile or else all of your posts will be deleted." I freaking hate this crap it throws at me so much, and I'm sorry if I come off as quite a weird and irksome one. This is the first rule that I am aware that I have broken in the "Daily Picture Challenge" thread, and I feel terrible about it. Once again I am very sorry.)

EDIT:

(This stuff is driving me nuts, my stupid OCD made me repost because it wasn't posted "perfectly" the first time, but now it was accidentally posted after midnight because I was trying to post it at 11:59 because I "had" to, and now I have a gap in my posts, as I do not have one for March 1st. Thank you very much if you care for me, and I appreciate the support, but I honestly don't know how much longer I can take this. I am seeing a psychiatrist and a psychologist, I am on three medications for mental illnesses (more for physical stuff as well), and I haven't had time to read the OCD Workbook because Junior Year (11th Grade) of High School is absolute hell. Now that I have not satisfied this evil OCD, which is like a mind of its own, I will not be able to function. This is not good.)
Hang in there.  I am dating someone with OCD and he recoving hoarder too. I have learned a lot about OCD. I know its part of him and i know to allow him space and time.

Like another poster said we all are a bit odd on this board. :)

This is the new Wolfe County Judicial Center in Campton, Ky. Kentucky has been aggressively building new facilities to supplement county courthouses. These judicial centers house district and circuit courtrooms, and in some cases the circuit court clerk's offices. This leaves county courthouses for the county clerk, county judge-executive, property valuation administrator and sheriff.

It was posted before that it was an erroneous new signal install (yellow and green were reversed) and has since been corrected.

It might be a slight stretch to call this a "signage photo", but this is where GA 53 in Dawsonville splits to go around the old Dawson County courthouse.

For this challenge, this photo comes to mind--the town square in Benton, IL, with the Franklin County government building in the middle.  (For those confused, that big assembly is supposed to be facing to the left, but it got messed up.)

QuoteMarch 4, 2017
Challenge: Post photos of city streets that aren't there anymore, yet somehow are totally still there.

I'm saying "city streets" because we're looking for an urban setting hereā€“not, for example, old alignments of U.S. highways still traceable out in the desert and whatnot. (Save that for a future Challenge.) :-) Look for examples of old streets that have been abandoned or turned back, but whose physical features can still be discerned. Or, streets that are still perfectly official, but have somehow been absorbed into the greater surroundings.

Here's an example of each from Rochester, NY:

Rano Street, off of Gibbs Street. Always a minor alley, the old pavement of this former street can still be seen here. An old street sign was, for many years, still hanging off the side of the building in the reverse view of this GSV link; scroll around in 3D view to see more bits of the old street still extant in what's now private property:

https://goo.gl/maps/KfeT726mcTG2

Melvin Alley, at left in this view, is all but indistinguishable from the surrounding parking lot, yet its brick pavement is still unmistakable. Scott Alley, to the right and behind, is not much better, but shows modern asphalt pavement and a few bits of curbing. Unlike Rano Street, above, these alleys are still apparently public rights-of-way, fully signed by the municipality:
