May 15, 2017: River Roads! Pictures of the Great River Road and/or other scenic/designated routes that follow a river (or mostly).

The sign partially obscured by the pole is for the Qu'Appelle Valley Scenic Route. SK 10 takes you to the Qu'Appelle River Valley from TCH 1, then you can follow SK 56 along the river (which I did and it was definitely pretty!)

May 14, 2017 Challenge: Since today marks the anniversary of the beginning of the Lewis and Clark expedition, post photos of any sign that is in reference to a frontier trail/military road.

This Elk Crossing sign is on KY 66.



And this is it with a little personalization. 



There used to be a Bear Crossing sign on KY 160 at the top of Pine Mountain at the Harlan/Letcher county line, but it's long gone.

This particular sign (specifically its westbound counterpart) is exactly what prompted this Challenge idea when I saw it yesterday. :-)

Right, that's what I meant. I believe the Challenge was intended to show named, designated scenic routes, such as the Great River Road (although admittedly it wasn't entirely clear).

Power Road in Farmington MI.  The sign was removed when the street was rebuilt several years ago.




Reposted from the 01/15/2017 challenge -- it's definitely not in the MUTCD, but it's an official sign installed by the city.  Eleven Mile Road, outside the Farmington Hills MI city hall.
