Mine very rarely come out well since we don't stop for the pictures, but some that are at least readable.  Amazingly enough, my original Sony FD-7 camera (now a 20-year-old model) took better night pictures than any digital camera I've had since.

Unless there's going to be an official decree about it, looks like there isn't going to be a May 19, 2017 challenge.

Well, the rules are silent on what happens if no Challenge is posted, but there is one for a Challenge that is unanswered, in which case it may be closed at any time by posting a single valid Answer. I see no reason why the same can't apply here, so as long as you've got a photo to submit, you can post it as a one-shot Challenge for May 19th. Basically a "get out of jail free" card for someone to post a favorite photo.

No further Answers to that Challenge would then be allowed, but it would become eligible for the next monthly re-cap (so don't make it too obscure!). Also, don't forget that we're up to Franklin Pierce in the presidential sub-Challenge.

I have posted this photo before (I think in the unique signs thread). There are several of these trail signs with the penny-farthing around Kitchener, and my family thinks they're funny. I mean, these signs don't look old enough to have penny-farthings on them. Who's idea was this?
