Even the construction signage uses Clearview???

Why wouldn't they?

Clearview was never approved for dark on light contrast.

Even with the wrong colors for a business loop.

Yeah, posted that in one of the Sign Error threads a few years back.

I don't have that many photos of Big Orange Signs, oddly...some states use them, but many contractors craft their own "specials", and others just green-out, conceal, spindle, fold, and mutilate the heck out existing signage.

Maybe that could be used for business loops that are freeways themselves, such as I-80 Business in Sacramento.

These are all beautiful shots. More landscape challenges please

Yes, that's a good reminder: although this thread is posted in Traffic Control, that's only because most of the challenge threads were there. This was never intended to be a signs-only Challenge; anything to do with roads is great!

So, with that in mind:

Anybody got a shot of the main street in Mt. Carmel, PA? That town always seemed frozen in time to me.

When did that SC one go up?  Only left-bannered signs I remember seeing in SC are the OAPL in advance of the same junction, and in Clearview.

I'll match you with this skyline of Minneapolis taken from the NB I-35W ramp to WB I-94.

Also, here's a picture of the Des Moines skyline, but obscured by local fog (normally you can see it without the fog). This is on NB Fleur Drive at George Flagg Parkway.

More seriously, here's a picture of the Des Moines skyline, in January, taken from the top of Monona Avenue.

Challenge: Post a road photo taken during some type of emergency (blackout, wildfire, dangerous weather, derailment, nuclear meltdown, etc.

Posting since I'm enjoying a blackout at home currently. :-) The photo should include some indication of the emergency, of course. Vehicular accidents also count, as long as they had a substantial impact on traffic (not just rubbernecking a fender-bender).

Now this is washed out. This is MN-210 after a bad flood in 2012. (Picture isn't mine, and I'm not sure where I found it.)

MA 114 at I-495. Not my photo. I believe the link below is about the flood that caused it, but there were actually two floods about a year apart; the Friendly's shown in the image had to be fixed both times.
