Challenge: Post signs that just make you scratch your head in confusion. How can it possibly be enforced? Who would it even apply to? What even is this?

Here's an example, courtesy of GSV:
https://goo.gl/maps/TvJiLhD41hB2

This sign faces traffic at the end of a very narrow back road with steep hills and sharp curves–the kind where they have to post convex mirrors to see around the curves since the road is less than two car-widths in some spots. There are few properties along the road, and a lot of conserved wooded area. The intersecting road on the far end is a rustic, dirt-surfaced historic road that serves little to no purpose for any commercial traffic.

In short, there's no conceivable way that any tractor-trailer would ever be facing this sign–they'd have gotten wedged in a curve long before they made it this far, and there's no intervening place they could have entered from. And even if a tractor-trailer were miraculously teleported to this location, what on earth would they be expected to do about it?? They're not permitted on the intersecting road ahead (which is actually what this sign and the weight limit sign in the background refer to), and they can't physically traverse the road behind.

Unlawful to track mud on highway sign in Bunkie, Louisiana.

(I tried to get a shot of this sign, but both came out very blurry...lens stopped auto-focusing. So, GSV.)

How much mud is too much mud? And what if it floods? How could this be prevented?

I'm more intrigued that this sign is posted right after the intersection with I-49, the traffic from which isn't going to bring much mud onto the road. Would make more sense at the junction with US 71 to the east, which is actually in the town of Bunkie.

At any rate, looking down the road (pan to the left away from the sign and the C-store in the background), you see that this is a rather lonely road in the middle of farmland. The highway is used by people going to the Indian casino in Marksville. My theory is that someone complained to the parish government after getting mud on their vehicle while traveling this road, hence the sign.

I'll offer this one.  Did Arkansas have a problem with people holding parades on their interstates that caused them to outlaw them speficially?  Taken July 23, 2005.

There are some signs like that in New York as well.

The top sign.  My only guess is that they're trying to say "No Loitering."

O/T but along the same lines:  I've always been amused by signs at town borders stating "zoning strictly enforced."  Are they afraid someone's going to stop on the way through town to erect a 10-story office building in the middle of Farmer Bob's beanfield?

U-turn arrow on NH 125 in Plaistow, NH by <name removed>, on Flickr

This one has its own U-turn arrow. (As stated in the Flickr description, it turned green within one second of this photo being taken.)

Your example does not have to have a traffic light. The photo can also be of the U-turn sign instead of the intersection itself, if you want. However, it must be available to the public (so "authorized vehicles only" doesn't count).

I know I already posted once today, but I JUST found this new signal installed along US30 eastbound in Plainfield.  This is the second day in a row I took a photo that fit the daily challenge ON THAT DAY.  CRAZY.  This is the ONLY U-turn signal I have ever seen installed for IDOT.
