QuoteJuly 4, 2018: Post a road sign containing the name of a signer of the U.S. Declaration of Independence (list here).  Each can be used once (but we'll need two "Adams" for Samuel and John).  Bonus points if you can find one referring to a place/street likely named after the signer.

I'll start with the signer with the most recognizable signature, John Hancock.  Taken on US 20 entering Hancock, Massachusetts.  September 30, 2007.

I just posted this to the Traffic Signal thread, but it works for this challenge too. Jefferson Way in Indianola, IA, so named because it was once part of the Jefferson Highway, which was named for Thomas Jefferson.

Edited to change the picture to a cropped version that makes the sign easier to read.

Here's Harrison Blvd in Ogden. For Benjamin Harrison, although the road is named for William Henry Harrison, the 9th president.

I thought Huntington, WV, was named after a railroad magnate named Huntington.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

"This one is for Samuel Huntington" was referring to the signer of the Declaration of Independence, not to the origin of the city's name. They don't have to be the same person to qualify for the challenge.

Georgia's three signers all have counties in the northeastern part of metro Atlanta named after them.

George Walton:

The third is, of course, Button Gwinnett, but it appears my photo collection lacks anything named for either him or his namesake county.

A recently taken one qualifies here for me.  A green box placeholder for I-86 on I-84 in New York.  May 9, 2018.

Of course the strange thing about this is that a couple miles back, the I-86 was not covered:
