A joke is an attempt at humor; not an excuse for a post you have to retract after irritating everyone.

The GA 13 freeway at the route's southern end in Atlanta was the original alignment of I-85, and served as a detour for it when part of the viaduct burned down a while back, which was certainly an unlucky circumstance for commuters.

Find a sign with a very large number: (over 3,000)

$18,000 (sign is meant for pedestrians, but I believe the covered bridge is traversable by both cars and pedestrians)

One you've seen one 57,650-pound weight limit sign in Mississippi, you'll wonder how you ever lived without them!

An excuse to post this hand-painted sign in Yatesville, Georgia:

Find a sign with a very large number: (over 3,000)

3,000 is a curious threshold, since there are states with route numbers above 3,000. Like Hawaii.

The new HI 3800 bypass to the Kahului airport:

BTW, the "business" banner above the HI 380 route marker seems not to signify a Business HI 380 separate from regular HI 380; rather it points to a continuation of regular HI 380 that serves businesses, for travelers not going to the airport.

For a second example, I'll recycle this BGS, which includes two HI 7xxx route markers:

Finally, another BGS on Oahu with a route marker for Hawaii's highest-numbered signed route:

I changed it, only shields over 3,000, so no population signs.

To me, that sign implies "this applies statewide". Is that the case?

Can't just change the challenge after the fact. This is where being smart and thinking things through before posting becomes important.

It was actually a good challenge before the change. I created a previous challenge that was 1000+, but explicitly recommending as many types of numbers (routes, distances, fines, weight limits, etc.) as possible.
