Reminds me of a trailblazer sign in Ontario or something, with that yellow.

Remember, again, that since this photo of US 20 was submitted for the Challenge, that route isn't a valid play in subsequent answers–quite a few of those this time around!

Florida is king of banner 'n' arrow mismatches, but that's the first time I've seen the county road set compliment an Interstate shield.

My guess is that they wanted an SR 818 sign here:

Like Wyoming, these signs have redundant BUSINESS banners above the business route shields.  Is that also the norm in Texas?

I just want to say that I'm not a fan of this rule, since if someone happens to have already played the only valid response you have, then you can't participate, and that's no fun.

Edit: I get that most challenges are not exclusively answered by one's own photos, but some people (like myself) play by that rule, and it feels exclusionary for the thread to operate by that "no duplicates" rule.

^I agree - at this point, I think the thread should be more about fun than the letter of the law.

OK, shall we consider that the beginning of a discussion to revise that rule? Or, a much easier way that doesn't involve changing anything would be to frame the Challenges so that the rule doesn't apply (since that scenario was also anticipated). For example, because that Challenge asked for examples of "route 20", only the first instance of US 20 was valid. However, if the Challenge had asked for "signs showing route 20", then each different sign would still be valid, and only duplicate photos of the same sign wouldn't count.

I'd say that's the simplest solution, since it allows each person to set what guidelines they like for each Challenge.
