It's been a few years since I've driven that northern segment of Clark County 215.  The last time I went through that interchange, work was still ongoing and I'm sure the final signage hadn't been put up.

I know this isn't the purpose of posting your photo, but...Ely????  Why on earth is that on there?  OK, I know US 93 goes there, but the percentage of drivers going from eastbound CC 215 to northbound I-15 and going in the direction of Ely, or up northbound US 93 at all once it diverges from I-15, has to be miniscule.

I'm not aware of any place else in the Las Vegas metropolitan area where Ely appears on any sign.  If there's going to be a secondary to Salt Lake City you'd think it would be Mesquite or St. George.  But Salt Lake City goes solo on the other signage on northbound I-15.  A strange choice by NDOT.

The only other place I've seen Ely at is at Exit 64 where US 93 slits from I-15.  That "barely" in the Las Vegas area since it is a decent clip north of Apex Summit.

Seeing these signs makes me grateful of my state's signing practices.

(At any 3-way intersection in which a road terminates at another road, W. Va. signs both directions of the upcoming highway, thrice, an END sign, a JCT sign, a reassurance marker, and in some cases, control cities)
