General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

Taken just before it started to pour rain... I spent almost two weeks driving north from Phoenix to Seattle in the Spring of 2016, and the only rain I encountered was in the desert... that's some kind of luck

Haynes Bridge –> Eight Hundred West (also usually called Eighth West, not sure if that counts). Eleven Hundred North (or Eleventh North) is also available.

Woods Cross, Utah.

I played quite a few similar street names from Utah, from when I was out there last year. Three notes:

-- I played things like "Eight Hundred" West only as that, not as "Eighth". You know better than I what streets in Utah are called locally, but we typically go with what the sign says.

-- You might check the search box, for the street names I've already played and that can't be played again. These haven't been played, so you're OK there. (This is not an issue for the parallel city name game, where people can re-play a name already used by someone else with a different photo.)

-- The same street name in different Utah street networks (such as Payson's rather than the one in the Salt Lake metro) are counted as separate streets and can be re-played. I played an 800 South in Payson, which should not stop you from playing an 800 South in another Utah city (but say which one, to make clear there's no duplication between your photos and mine).

Works for me. Usually you can use either “eight hundred” or “eighth” and you’ll be understood. Here’s a GSV that demonstrates why I think this is a complicated issue. For what it’s worth, this sign is no longer standing, but it illustrates the point.

However, I’m curious about what we would do with some weird numbers like 9000 South, which is usually said “90th South”, or in shortened form just “90th”. I’ve never heard “nine thousand” or “ninety-hundred”.
Also, for roads like 11400 South, I’ve never heard “eleven thousand four hundred” and “eleven-four hundred” is not common. Usually it’s “114th South” or in shortened form “114th”.
