Can we go easy on playing ____e street names, please? We'll quickly run out of E___ names to play in response (___e names are much more common than E____ names -- same goes for ___n/N____, and especially problem ending letters like X, Y, and Z), if this goes on.

I know some players are running low on their photo inventories, but a new player like 6a should be able to do better.

Didn't mean to offend the forum's sensibilities there. I don't, in fact, have a ton of pictures sitting around. I only started taking them to play this game. If no one else has anything I'll wait another day and go find a damn E.

I'd figure it's better to give some latitude to a new entrant rather than everyone else who's been been playing it, especially since no established rules were broken.

The problem is that "e" and "s" are the two most common letters in the English alphabet.

The problem is that "e" and "s" are the two most common letters in the English alphabet.

But "n" seems to be much more common as a street (or place) name ending letter than "s", and less common as a starting letter, which makes "n" more of a problem letter than "s".

If no one else has anything I'll wait another day and go find a damn E.

I suggest you (and others) go ahead and do that, and maybe gather some Ns as well. Even banal ones like Eighth or Ninth (or 8th or 9th) Street, which can be played even if those names have been played in other parts of the country, since the ones in your area are different streets than the others.

I was just annoyed that I seemed to be supplying most of the E____s to keep things moving. Now that my online access is less frequent on the road than usual -- and may disappear for a few days later on my current road trip -- it's be good for other players to be contributing E___s and N____s too.

Anyway,

Three Mile Rd. => Edgefield Drive (Hyattsville MD) (late substitution for E. Euclid):
