Which, IMO, would make "South", "North", and "West" all directionals, and so disregarded. The argument would work better if there were no Hospital North or Hospital West, and especially if Hospital South were not in the South half of town.

Putting the direction in between the street suffix and the name itself is a bit of an odd place if it's not meant to be regarded as part of the name.
