Have you ever completely ruined your eyeglasses or dentures on a roadtrip?

Last year, I buyed sunglasses with amazing vision correcting capabilities (I don't wear regular glasses), and I slept on top of them at a campsite in North Dakota. But it didn't break them. However, the buckle on my belt broke off there, and I used duct tape to tape it back on. I just had to rock it for the rest of the trip.
