Now that sign is confusing. What exactly is exit only? What's not?

The lane appears to widen next to the white truck so I assume the trucks are both going straight ahead. There's a discussion in another thread about these types of signs and the confusion some of the arrows can cause.

Let's add a '0' in between the 1's...

BTW, this picture was taken today as I was heading to Costco.  This sign is located on a road that connects El Camino Real to Coleman Avenue and De La Cruz Blvd in Santa Clara, CA.

If I owned a dam and decided to donate it to charity, would I be giving a dam? I'm sure that might be a first because no one really gives a dam.

Question - TN-46 (secondary) in your photo the same highway as the one I posted above as TN-46 (primary)?

They may have been at one time, but they are separate now.

The TN Secondary 46 sign I photographed is part of a route that runs from TN 100 near where TN 840 currently ends through Leipers Fork and ends at US 431 north of Franklin, TN and is signed East-West

The TN Primary 46 you photgraphed starts at TN 100 and TN 7 about 6 miles west of where TN secondary 46 ends and go into Dickson, TN and is signed North-South.  Somewhere in Dickson, it turns into TN Secondary 46 and heads north to US 79 north of Indian Mound, TN.

Now, Tennessee is often lax about mixing up primary and secondary route signs but the changes I described about TN 46 are shown on the official state map.

Thanks for the info....I haven't lived in a state with primary/secondary routes that are signed with the same numbers before, although that seems as though it could be quite confusing!  How do locals refer to the route numbers?

Here's my contribution to the game:

I used to drive to Columbia, TN every Summer. I had a "shortcut" of TN 50 off I-40. At I-40, it was Secondary Route, but changed to Primary at Centerville, which I never understood. They do the same thing with TN 100.
