actually, I believe that is an old remnant US-104 shield!  When did you take that picture?  I last saw that sign in 2006.

US-104 was decommissioned in 1971.

here is a US-209 marker of similar age.

That's when I took it, in 2006.  Is it gone now?

Here's Oregon's version of 245.  I need to get my other computer fixed; this was erroneously signed as US 245 at this junction for awhile but that picture's lost on the other machine's hard drive.

More Oregon - this time near Crater Lake.

Photos I post are my own unless otherwise noted.

I have no idea - last anyone seems to have checked on it is 2006.  I found another US-104 shield in the Rochester area, and, interestingly, a US-404.  I'll have to post the photo when appropriate in this thread ;)

here is another South Dakota I-90 shield.  (I will assume I-90 and BL-90 are different enough, for the purposes of this game!)

it dates back to the late 1950s!

There's actually a few error US 404 shields in Rochester, but didn't know about an US 104 shield remaining in Rochester (perhaps in error as well?).  Here's some signs from my neighbor to the near south, northeastern PA.

I do not remember where the 104 was in Rochester, other than it being near the 404... in July of 2006.

and back to US-6...

I remember seeing a cutout like this in the Hyannis area as late as 1991 or so.  Either this 21" size or the smaller 16" size with the slightly funny shape (like the Mass US 3 cutout that is around)... it's been so long that I don't remember exactly what it looked like.

Manitoba has been sadly underrepresented in this game, so here's a 459 from TC 1 near Brandon.
