extremely fat US-19 shields on green sign in Penna

sweet lord, where do they keep coming up with new ugly shield designs.  And I thought the 1970-spec fat shield was the extent of the US highway markers reflecting America's growing obesity problem.  Well, we're a fatter nation in 2009, and the shields show it.

Believe it or not, those are replacement signs....  Yeah, PennDOT couldn't help themselves to replace them less than 4 months later after they did the number change over........  Only sign not to be changed was the I-279 one......
