258 = 166 + 92 in Douglas, Georgia:

(A rare quadruplex in Georgia that doesn't have any US Routes/hidden numbers tagging along.)

259 = 34 + 225 (Osage, MN–fun fact: MN-225 is part of a really old, twisty alignment of MN-34.)

How many times have I even played this photo...?

I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

I wrote a program that determines what routes we can use. We will need that photo for 1304 unless we go outside the United States, use routes that aren't in Travel Mapping (like two county routes intersecting), or find routes that don't quite intersect but are in the same photo. 1488 is the first number with no solutions in the United States, and 2711 globally.

Overly pedantic nitpick: Douglasville (or Douglas County). Douglas, GA is way down in the southeast part of the state. :)

So, that picture is the only assembly that adds up to 1304 without duplicating signs? Interesting! I thought there would be at least one other combination that also adds up to 1304... (In the United States, that is.)

The sums with even numbers may become more difficult as the game progresses; an intersection with two even or two odd numbers is less likely an occurrence than route numbers with an even-odd combination. Even so, we can use combinations of uniquely-numbered and/or varying Route designations, as per the original post.

I was considering this as well.  This assumes that places will use a grid system, or at least that people tend to obey the odd/even rule.  I did find that, scouring through my collection (which I have done up to 400 now), even numbers were slightly more difficult to accomplish.  And, in response to the TM stuff, I'm doubting that a lot of people here will have photos outside of the U.S. and Canada.

Oddly, this is my first Illinois post in a while.

My most recent post is for routes inside the US only. There are a few duplicates (e.g. I-465&US31&US52@I-465&US421@I-465 and I-465/US31/US52/US421), but it's mostly accurate.

@Truvelo might have some stuff from the UK... Although I have seen him post some pictures from other European countries as well.

273 = 127 + 146.  More bland Illinois route flavoring.  But it's in Illinois wine country so maybe this post is more wine-flavored.  The Peach Barn nearby has amazing Swedish food; my girlfriend and I can't wait to go back.
