Not trying to be too much of a smart-ass, but I prefer the term "video." I don't even refer to Hollywood features as "films" unless the movie production was captured using real 35mm or 65mm film cameras. Most are recorded with heavily glorified video cameras now.

When did this morph from I-5 to Mount Diablo?    I did a somewhat recent trip up Mount Diablo myself on the South Gate Road and down on the North Gate Road:

Probably when Kyle got off I-5 onto the continuation of CA 33.  That'll take him through Tracy, then up Byron Road and Marsh Creek around the north side of Diablo; then just a few turns until the road up the hill.  Much more scenic (and less slog-like) than 580 to 680 through the 'burbs.
