Looks like mapcat from TM would be at 525.

Moreover, once he snags 525, his lowest untraveled route number would be 673.

Ironically, there is no 525 in Ohio (or Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and West Virginia), so Dave will have to go digging in Kentucky for it.

Yeah, he's spotted it, but it's not in a convenient part of the state. There's also one in Louisiana (my go-to for high-numbered routes), but apparently not in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, or Florida (also home to many high-numbered routes). I traveled one about a decade and a half ago in western Washington state, and there's a secondary route 525 in a remote area of western Ontario.

525 ain't a number there are many of, as several of the states that go high don't have that number. My 525 is the A525 over in the UK. The A525 is actually how I "froggied" Wales from the A41.

Add me to the list of anti-county route participants. I went 40 minutes out of my way to drive on OH 182, only to find it has demoted to a county route. One of the few times my DeLorme has led me astray.

...and to add further to my dismay, while sorting through photos, I realized that the other route I went out of my way to travel (OH 199) was unneeded because I hit NY 199 in October. So my Ohio detour was a complete waste of time.

Why, oh why, does this game have to be so fun...

OK, I finally went through this and I am pretty sure it is 108.  I have not been on WI-108, there is no I-108 or US-108, and I am reasonably sure I have not been on another state's 108.

It was interesting being from Wisconsin with no single state highways, but I am sure I have been on interstates, USHs and other state highways that have covered all single digits.  And the few 2dwis I haven't been on have all been covered by either interstates or US Highways.
