Exit 173. (I don't have this sign in my own collection and I don't have any 173s of my own.)

Illinois 173, a road which is the object of a short clinchtrip I've been thinking of taking.  This picture is an oldie, from 2006 I think

Why is that picture rotated?

I think the iPhone-embedded orientation is at it again; right on my phone, wrong on the PC. The software stretches it out for PC usage.

Does Flickr have a setting for that?

Not a highway sign, but Rebecca Mezoff brings us a Wild Cherry Trailhead sign.

Let's play the color yellow.

OK, let's start with this 35 MPH curve advisory speed.

Apparently the only way to fix the rotation issue is to edit the photo with the poor man's Photoshop that Flickr provides. I don't want to do this because it discards all of the EXIF information attached to the photo.

On with the game: Interstate 35 (E or W, take your pick).

Georgia Connector 35.  Thomasville.  July 19, 2007.

I am not sure if a jump to the other Georgia routes in the assembly is a valid play here, since they lack the "Conn".

I would assume such a play to be valid. "35 Conn" in Georgia would be analogous to a letter suffix in other states, like "35C", and we've already established that suffixes can be ignored.

Regardless, I'll play from there to this photo, where I'd argue that either GA 5 or GA 515 are valid, despite the latter's blue pigmentation (it's the only GA route that uses this color).

Finally a chance to play an Alaska 2001 photo (I'm a week behind).

June 20 was our Denali to Anchorage day, including our best views of Denali itself from the road.  It was in the clouds when we were at the park on the 19th.
