Staying in Canada, I know I haven't played this one and a search is coming up empty.  I'm not sure the proper term for numbered roads in Ontario that use this kind of marker, so I'm going with "Ontario Secondary". (Thanks Oscar)

Been meaning to ask that; how come the secondary routes only seem to appear in the most rural areas of Ontario? Is that how the MTO handles those routes, instead of the regional routes seen in the more densely-populated regions?

Regional roads are maintained by the regions (just like county roads, which also exist in Ontario), unlike the secondary routes up north.
