I can't see them making Business Interstate routes these days, since the feds seem to have issues with green shields lately.

If the feds had problems with the green shields, how did we get the newest Business Interstate of BL I-376 here in Pittsburgh?

Hmmm...didn't notice that.

But....a Business loop off a 3di?? Who approved that..AASHTO or Congress??

Former Business 60, originally mainline PA 60.  That's how.

Yeah, pretty much, PennDOT just "added" it. lol.  But I could have seen them if they had felt like it kept PA-60 between where it joined the Parkway West to the split to the airport and reput normal PA-60 on old Bus PA-60.  But to be honest, I'm happy we have another Business Interstate here in PA.  Plus it's the only one in the US I've been able to 100% clinch.

I really do not care for the green interstates myself except for Business I-40 at Greensboro,NC & Business I-80 in Sacramento. Business 3dis are common in Michigan: I-196 has 3 of them.

the greens only get really good when they are forgotten about.  Rural, especially western, business loops in states like Montana and Washington are a treasure trove of old stuff.  Signs, bridges, even old neon for businesses.
