For some reason, many of the images being posted are only partly loading for me, including the 340 cutout.

But if you want to see some newer 340 cutouts, here you are:

360! and 501 ... have only one example of each number in the wild on the shield gallery, and they are old, not very high-quality photos.

Bzzzz.  You can't post the new day till 1AM Eastern time.  This game is based off the Midnight in the Central Time Zone. ;)  See the first post of the thread if you don't believe me. ;)

'15' doesn't have a zero in it anyway. :P

yeah, but we do need to open up the game to at least the possibility of some two-digit numbers.

I guess we can post 51's then.  Or 15's.  Or 105's, 150's, etc.  I'll try to limit myself to just 3 digit examples for today, but I will say that it won't be easy finding lots of examples of "508"s.

Well, if we're allowing omission of the implied 0...

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

Jim

I'm going to stick with things that include the 0.

Before things get too out of hand here, can we have a definitive ruling from the judges regarding 2-di routes and implied '0's',,,,,we still have like 9 days, plus the first 9 days of the next 4 months to go....

Looking at Scott's post upthread would lead me to believe he was intending for the '0' to be shown, since technically any number has an infinite number of leading and trailing zeroes beyond what is needed to comprehend a given value (most times we obviously suppress them). If you open up the game to just two-digit numbers, you greatly decrease the chances that the "killgame" element triggers, which I think is the reasoning behind using three-digit numbers. But I'll leave it to him to make an official ruling.

heh, the "04/30" was a joke, because it was in the same photo as the proper "4/30"
