Not to be pedantic, but can we answer the last one before doing a new one?

I-10 through El Paso or I-40 through Memphis?

If it's finished, I-10 through El Paso.  But that construction zone was a nightmare every time I drove through it.

I-10 Katy Freeway or I-5 Santa Ana Freeway from CA-55 to Orange/Los Angeles County line?

I-5 because I've driven it less.  Big Texas Freeways are one of those things that are kind of cool at first and then kind of get old after you've driven them a few times.

Okay, new one:

US 54/400/Kellogg Avenue Freeway in Wichita, or I-40/Coronado Freeway in Albuquerque?
The new Kellogg is pretty nice.

I-78 in PA or I-76 in PA?

I-78. The PA Turnpike has ridiculously high tolls.

I-180 in IL or I-180 in WY?

The amount of disrespect towards the pioneer of modern and efficent automobile transportation (a.k.a the greatest Interstate in the world, a.k.a I-180 in Wyoming) is absolutely staggering.  :-o :-o

And also, give me the Wyoming edition by a long shot.

95 in FL. Whole thing is at least three lanes each direction and I-4 has been under construction for nigh on 5 years. Should be nice when done though.

I-75 through Florida, because I've never had the chance to take it very far south of I-10, and I'd love to drive the Everglades Parkway someday.

Okay, I'm going back to one of the choices in the original post, but I'm using it to pose the eternal dilemma:

Suffer through traffic on I-35 through Austin, or pay the tolls for TX 45 and 130 around Austin?  I'll make it harder: pretend you miss the sign that gives the travel times.

Eh, who doesn't like to go 85 mph legally? 130 it is. TBH though, 130's surroundings are fairly interesting, plus the road is actually designed for 85 mph. Fun fact: I drove part of 130 before I had my driver's license (I only had my permit).

As a non-Texan, I wouldn't want to deal with TxTag or however that toll system works. My family once drove on the OC toll roads in Socal and the website (thetollroads.com) wouldn't let us pay online at all. How does 130/45 work exactly?

When I drove 130 a couple years ago, my family didn't have a TxTag, but we did have an EZTag (basically Houston's toll tag system). The way the EZTag works is you type in your license plate number on its app and for a week you can use the electronic toll lanes around Houston without getting fined. After the one week, the plate number expires and you get the toll bill, which you pay with a credit card. Then you can type in your plate number again for the next week.

I believe the app is free, though, so I bet non-Texans can use it without issue if they make an account. 130 said it accepted TxTag only, but after we drove it, the toll charge for the TxTag appeared on the EZTag account, so I think the systems are interchangeable. Not sure about other states' tags, though.

I have a PikePass (OK), so TX-130 just charged to that like any other toll road in Oklahoma.

Hardy Toll Road, because it allows Houstonians to get to the airport faster and more directly.

Strongly disagree here. 75 through Florida is surprisingly boring. Just flat, straight, and trees. You pass by a couple metros but see nothing. Alligator Alley is super boring too, 41 is way more fun in crossing the Everglades. 75 in northern GA is nice, and going through downtown ATL is one of the best urban freeways in the country (though I've always done it at night and never hit traffic).

Both are highly stressful during most hours of the day for their own reasons. I-290, though (if heading inbound) because it does have the cool ending that takes it under the Post Office and has the Chicago Skyline views.
