I'm one of those single-screen people and prefer it that way.

I always find the additional time scanning and finding whatever is in the second screen takes up more time than just Alt+Tabbing my way towards whatever needs my attention.

I'd actually like to have a multiple monitor system on my next PC. I mentioned that kind of thing to a salesman at Best Buy once, and he told me all you really need to do is have split screens or work with multiple browsers. I do too much of the latter as it is, and I have multiple instances of screens freezing, pausing, and buffering in order to prove it.

Recovering from a car accident from a couple weeks ago and browsing used cars, bummer cause I had just bought a car last year.

Currently browsing for a car similar to what I had, a Toyota Avalon, been able to find a couple cars similar to what I had mileage and all, but a road trip away. Not afraid of traveling for a good deal, though.

Two monitors are easy enough to do with just DVI and VGA cords.

With my new laptop, I plan to eventually ask my boss if he'll splurge on a dock for three monitors.  This business of using dual laptop screens is not exactly the best.

I have a little port with a male USB-C and three female HDMI which works great.

I didn't know it myself until Bohemian Rhapsody came out in 2018.

I think I have both, I'll have to check.

The thing is, I hate having to clutter up a single monitor with multiple browsers. They always slow down my PC, freeze up on me, make me do things I don't want to do on my PC, and cause me to crash. I'd rather use one on one side as a guide, so I can do work on the other, and leave the others for future projects.

In the event I decide to bite the bullet on a gaming PC, I'll probably settle on two monitors - one with a full screen game, and the second with OBS for all my streaming shenanigans.

Because Billy Joel decided to sing about Pete Rose instead.

Because Billy Joel decided to sing about Pete Rose instead.

In later live versions Joel changed the lyric about Rose from "Rose he knows he's such a credit to the game" to "Rose he knows he'll never reach the Hall of Fame". I have been wondering if he had changed the line again in the wake of Rose's death.

Heh. The cynic in me wanted to make a crack about Joel cancelling his shows this summer because of his angst about how to rewrite that lyric in light of Rose's reinstatement. But that would be in poor taste, so I didn't do it.

I've heard him sing the revised lyric you describe several times because that song is a standard part of his live set.
