Interesting thought, not 45 mph though.

I'll try the "too obvious" 55 :D

Of course interstatefan990 was correct, that would indeed have been too obvious :)

Not 65 mph either.

Do we have our second 50 mph in a row?

This leaves us with moronic options. Given that it's New York (based on the road design), I'm going to guess it's an increment of 5....so, 35?

Indeed!! I figured this one might take a while. I drove through the other day and couldn't believe I didn't think to use it here sooner. It's NY 104 WB approaching the Genesee River, where the freeway in Irondequoit turns to six-lane boulevard in the old Kodak Park area.

It definitely doesn't need to be as low as 35 across the bridge here. Keeping it at 55 mph might be a bit high given the narrow lanes, nonexistent shoulders, and sidewalk abutting the roadway, but I think 45 mph would be reasonable.

You are up next!

jakeroot

Woah, that is frighteningly low for what seems like a major freeway. 55 may not be appropriate for the roadway beyond the bridge, but I feel posting some sort of transition zone would have been a bit more appropriate. 45 seems reasonable, yeah.

Here is my submission:

I'm going to go with 35 mph, since that's pretty popular on these types of rural roads in Western Washington

That is a very reasonable conclusion, but it's not 35.

Is this in mph?

The title of the photo is "Road in WA".

D'oh! The van made me think it could be a different country for some reason.

I'll try 25 mph.

The Eurovan! Now combined with all of the JDM vans, it does sometimes feel like the Pacific Northwest is a foreign country.

25 is correct! Freeman Road, s/o Valley Ave in Fife, WA (the view is reversed but it's the same in both directions). Only about a mile south of my previous use of Freeman Road.

Nice! Was a bit hard to tell how dense the area was, but I figured it was slightly more likely that it would be lower than 35 mph given the lack of shoulders.

So the back-and-forth continues... I will let anyone jump in here, as I just went and I don't have anything lined up.
