Sweet. Alright, here comes one I don't expect to last too long, but I like the pic so I'm playing it anyway.

I-57?

Yup. It's I-57. The terrain is definitely flat enough to be Illinois.

Whereabouts on 57? Mile Marker or nearby town/exit?

This was on I-57 I believe south of the I-24 exit by the Trail of Tears rest stop.

I don't drive that segment very often, even tho I live pretty close to it! Reason being, if I'm going north I get on I-57 either in Marion or in West Frankfort, or sometimes even up around Mt Vernon or even Salem if I really want to dodge the Marion-Mt Vernon segment, and if I'm going south, I usually get on south of Anna where SB US 51 merges onto SB I-57

That said, that does look like I-57 south of the I-24 split

For the record, really in this part of Illinois, it is not that flat. Far Southern IL is part of the state that is really not the flattest. Alto Pass isn't too far away from here, neither is the Garden of the Gods, nor is the Litte Grand Canyon...these are not the common Flat Lander features of most of the Prairie State

All that said, onto the next play:
