You got it!  This is basically where the Greater Parkersburg/Marietta Metro Area begins.  It's a wonder WVDOH doesn't have widening plans for this part of 77 yet.

The power lines and the bridge guardrails.  I have driven through that section many times when I drove for an expedited company out of Cincinnati plus this is the way I would travel home in Northern Kentucky from the Syracuse area after visiting my relatives there.  I saw the photo and thought that looks like I-90 around the Buffalo area, specifically near the Walden Galleria. I checked on GSV and was correct.

Nice job picking up on those details! I've driven it many times too but I picked the spot because I wasn't sure I could have gotten it myself. This part of I-90 looks very Midwestern to me (and indeed it is by NY standards).

Much of the Thruway from the Montezuma NWR west to the Pennsylvania line does have more of a Midwestern feel than an East Coast feel.  I believe I posted this thought in another thread discussing where one feels a section of our country changes from one "feel" to another "feel".
