This is recently reconstructed unposted I-124/posted US 27 north in Chattanooga, TN.

So I guess unposted 3di's are fair game?

Correct.  Don't see any reason to not count unsigned.  They're still 3dis.

I disagree. I think they should be signed. It's up to the OP, but allowing unsigned makes it almost impossible unless you've actually driven the road.

Something about this looks like Michigan, so I'll try I-375.

There are only, what, 12 unsigned? It's not like people are posting the shield when they're signed.  Other than the actual interstate shield, what are the differences which makes them harder to guess?

I guess I'm just salty because unsigned never even occurred to me until now. I literally would have guessed every single signed 3di in the nation before thinking to guess an unsigned one.  :-D

I'm OK with whatever is decided, I just think unsigned are pretty tough because no one is going to think of them until most or all of the signed options are exhausted.

I just rode through that stretch in downtown Grand Rapids on Saturday lol.  That would help me recognize it...

Here's a new one with some top-quality MSPaint censorship.

Nothing correct so far, but if someone guesses an Interstate number belonging to multiple separate highways with that number in different states, that person should specify which state (e.g. I-215 in Utah vs. I-215 in California).

Michigan signals in the background + depressed freeway + probably more lanes than necessary = I-696 in Michigan
I drove this freeway earlier this year.

This looks like the South. How about I-385 (SC)?
