I mean, the mods have always dropped gratuitous profanity... The person who started "Google Maps FUCKING sucks" was an admin at the time. Removing that rule just made the rule list match reality.

Here my wife and I went to a Vikings/Eagles game many years ago, we were walking around in our Eagles gear, and someone honked at us. We turned around. He gave us the thumbs down.

In Philly, someone wearing the opposing teams stuff would've been given the finger by the driver, the passenger, the kids, and then run over, then backed over, then given the finger again, then run over again. Then the kids would've jumped out and taken his beer, since he no longer would be drinking it.

It also seems to me that the expression "flipping other people off" (or similar) is itself a bit of a euphemism for what the gesture really means anyway.
