Quote from: ModernDayWarrior on September 24, 2025, 07:38:27 PMMy Mizzou Tigers are off to another hot start, moving to 4-0 with a 29-20 win over South Carolina that felt (at least to me) that it shouldn't have even been that close. SC finished the game with a total of -9 rushing yards; most of their offense came on a handful of long passing plays with busted coverages, which can be fixed. We host UMass for our homecoming game Saturday night, so (with apologies to @Roadgeekteen) I think it's a safe bet we will still be undefeated and ranked when Alabama comes to town next.

If Mizzou does manage to win 10 games again this season, it will be the first time in school history they've ever recorded double-digit wins in three consecutive seasons.
Yeah we lost to Bryant, a bad FCS team. You'll probably drop 60.

Someone get me a defibrillator, please.
"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

What an insane game. Fasted field storming I've ever seen. Chandler Morris has that dawg in him.

Nice win for your Hoos last night. I was watching the game with my uncle, a die-hard FSU fan who was actually on their team in the late 60s (he never actually got into a game but was definitely on the active roster). I also watched the famous 1995 game with him (I was eight at the time but remember it well) so I think I might be banned from ever watching FSU/UVA games with him again  :bigass:

And yeah, that field storming was... something. Miraculous that (AFAIK) nobody got seriously injured.

Ole Miss with a big win over LSU, Lane Kiffin's team beat the team that his daughter's boyfriend plays for.

I've never seen anything like this Penn State season in my life. It might be the most catastrophic start to a conference schedule any team has ever had. Correct decision of course, Fickell is next then Sherrone Moore a year from now. Quite the coaching turnover among historically successful B1G programs.

Wisconsin needs to clear out their AD first.

Jonathan Smith at Michigan State might be done soon as well.
