These two highways, located in south central Tennesse, west of Chattanooga, appearently swapped numbers.
I don't know exactly when; and I can't figure out why this happened. Any ideas?

From Jasper to  Kimball, SR 27 was multiplexed with US 41/64/72, and with US 72 from Kimball to the Alabama state line; as evidenced in this photograph.
