AARoads editing capabilities is becoming degraded on Edge and Safari:

AA Roads on Edge (138.0.3351.121)

AA Roads on Safari 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8)

It was a bit better on Edge before but more of the emoji icons have begun disappearing. Safari is at macOS defaults.

I've had something similar happen in Chrome on a PC or iPhone; half of the emojis don't show up.

In Firefox, nearly the same thing happens, but the ALT text appears in place of the missing characters.

Frankly, I wish we could toggle them on/off.

As of this evening, the entire toolbar is back, and 90% of the emojis are appearing. No updates to either macOS or to the browser. It could be a server or forum package issue.

The issues with the toolbar seem to come and go (I'm a Safari user, for context). Right now, it all appears as it should.

I have the same issue in Firefox.  I'm not sure honestly what's happening.

Have any of you tried clearing your cookies to see if that fixes the issue?

Can someone who is having this problem right click where the images should be and select "open image in new tab" and see what happens? I can think of no good reason why only some of the images aren't loading.

Firefox 140.0.4.  When I select "open image in new tab," the graphic does display properly in the new tab.  Also, if I choose "reload image" from the right-click menu the image replaces the text.  Very odd.

They're displaying normally again in Chrome; but not in Firefox.

If I press and select Right-Click > Reload Image, it loads them individually.

If I press and select Right-Click > Open Image in New Tab, it loads them as expected.

If I reload the entire page, they all show up again, as if nothing happened.

:hmm: since I just realized this was in the [More] icons area.

I would attempt, but as of this morning, everything appears! Very odd.

I had the same, but in Chrome, on the regular quick reply.  Even the formatting buttons on the top are blank, and whatever script they have doesn't give me the image right-click options.  For whatever reason, it seems like this is more likely to happen when I check during the day than the evening; could "time since last server restart" be a factor?

And it's not consistent; all the smileys appeared after I submitted this post, though the formatting buttons are still out.

Same issue here, looks like the file paths might have been changed when Alex updated the forum?

I just got this (except only the pokey-pokey emoji was showing, all others were funky words). Chrome browser, 8/6 at 3:40 pm eastern time.
