Abandoned car finds along roads

My travels in the Sierra Nevada range often take me to some pretty remote places.  Sometimes these places are remote enough that people dump or wreck vehicles along the roadway and they just become a fixture.  I found one such vehicle two days ago on Camp 9 Road:

Worth noting, I think this is a long wrecked PG&E work truck.  My basis for that is that blue body paneling coupled with the fact PG&E owns Camp 9 Road.  They pretty much have zero incentive to remove this wreck.

Wards Ferry Road on the other hand is owned and maintained by Tuolumne County.  The bridge over the Don Pedro Reservoir (Tuolumne River) is generally referenced as the graffiti bridge due to locals having their way with it.  It seems that another favorite past time is to launch vehicles off the Graffiti Bridge into the reservoir.  These vehicles aren't hard to spot when the water level recedes.

Someone appeared to have rolled this Scion on CA 175 back in 2020.  I passed it a couple times during the course of a week and didn't have much visible change:

Probably the most famous abandoned car in the California State Highway System is on CA 4 just east of Pacific Grade Summit.  The curve descending into Hermit Valley is called Cadillac Curve due a car from the marque having gone over the cliffside there.  The Cadillac is pretty difficult to spot now because of tree growth.

I recall there were several abandoned vehicles down along CA 23, near CA 1 in Malibu, near the last postmile or so. Wasn't sure if they were stolen or from accidents so I didn't photograph them, but they must have been irretrievable.

Not a car, but I pass this boat fairly frequently on the Thruway.

Wonder how that got there?
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

Seems like there's a related scrapyard behind the hill?

Looks like it? Also, love how that boat's also marked as a landmark on Google Maps.

Well, it seems like it's not the only boat on that hill, because you can see  even more abandoned boats from NY 173, where a dirt road leads to said boat off the Thruway.

Here's the grille from an abandoned pickup truck I found along TX-163 somewhere between Comstock and Juno.

Here's some "graveyards" along Yukon highway 6 (Canol Road), near the Yukon/Northwest Territories border, with the remnants of vehicles used for construction of the highway and a parallel oil pipeline during World War II. The military went back after the war was over to salvage any reusable parts, and the Canadian government later imposed "historical relic" protections to keep collectors from picking through the remains.

Something went amiss with the link, but there are a couple I can think of.
