Anyone know the status of the construction of I-35 north of Denton? It appears that a new interstate bridge is being constructed over the Red River.

I drove that several weeks ago, albeit at night, so I couldn't get a good view, and it wasn't too memorable. There are construction projects scattered all along the route between Denton and Marietta, OK. From what I saw, ROW for the new bridge is cleared and beams for the approaches to the new Red River bridge were put in place (I may be misremembering), but nothing yet for the span over the river itself.

The one thing I remember driving back from OKC was all the construction signage coming in from the north was TxDOT-spec for miles into Oklahoma, telling me that the contractor was TxDOT-hired. Probably some moving parts in that deal.
